Technology You know those neat visual displays from star wars and other movies which show rotating objects in mid air? Well now there is a small scale working prototype and it's thanks to the University of Southern California. Usually you see this kind of thing attempted using lightweight gas and multiple projectors working in unison.

This new project has taken a slightly different approach and with much cleaner results using holograms, spinning mirrors, cameras and lasers. The mirror spins very fast so it's not something you would want to touch. It would be the equivalent of sticking your finger into a computer fan or worse. Look but don't touch technology.

It can take a 3D model, object scan, or motion capture and display it in 3D. It uses some hologram technology but unlike a traditional hologram this one can be viewed from any angle. The image below shows the most basic of it's display capabilities. It can display full color 3D objects and not just in wireframe. This is the real deal.

=LG= Clan News We now have a private CS:S server up and ready for our new CS:S team. They will be competing in the next CAL season which is set to begin this Monday.

The website header has been updated to include the new CS:S icon. The old TF2 server has been down for a while and has been removed.

Good luck to our CS:S team! Remember it's not if you win or lose but how you play the game. Represent us with honor CS:S team and we'll be proud of you no matter what.
